South Bend tops U.S. cities for best home value
South Bend is the best city in the nation to find value, stability and rising prices in a home while living in a community with anticipated job growth, according to a real estate expert interviewed Jan. 5 on NBC-TV’s Today Show.

The grass really grows greener here
"I just love it. A lot of this property had been planted in Christmas trees and we had to take out about 100 trees for the house. We set the house back on top of the hill and curved the driveway around a clump of trees. We built the house right in the middle of a deer path, but that doesn't seem to stop them. We love this area. It's equally close to Niles or Buchanan or South Bend. We're 15 minutes from just about everything you need."
